IT raids at 23 places in Rajkot

Rajkot, Mar 22 (UNI) Income tax officials today carried out raids at the 23 places in the city, creating panic among the defaulters of the Income Tax.

According to Income tax officials, the raids were conducted at the offices and premises of the builders, jewellers, travel agents, Nagarik Sahakari Bank, Gokul finance and a doctor.

Around 150 IT officers have been engaged in the raids with the help of about 50 policemen, the sources said.
