Gurgaon: Hospital for industrial workers
Gurgaon, Mar 12: The Haryana Government will set-up a modern 100-bedded hospital here keeping in view the rapid industrialisation in the area, an offical spokesman here today (Mar 12, 2006) said.
The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) had sanctioned Rs 14.75 crore for this hospital that will primarily deal with industrial workers and their families.Land for the project has already been purchased and the hospital would be constructed within two years.
ESIC had accepted the proposal of the state government that till the construction of this hospital, the industrial workers in Gurgaon would avail modern health services free of cost at ESI hospital in Basaidarapur, New Delhi.
The Government has also decided to set up an ayurvedic dispensary at ESI hospital, Jagadhri in the next financial year.
