Week long Nagaland budget session from Mar 16

Kohima, Mar 11 (UNI) The week long budget session of the tenth Nagaland legsislative assembly will begin here from March 16.

Official sources said the session will begin with the address of Governor Shyamal Datta. The budget for the year 2006-07 will be presented on March 20.

The session which will continue till March 23. It will have obituary references, discussion on governor's address and introduction of government bills, discussion and voting on supplementary demands for grants of 2005-2006. Besides the selsion will also include presentation and passing of the Nagaland appropriation (no-1) bill, 2006, presentation of assembly committee reports and adoption of resolutions and general discussion on budget.

According to the business of the assembly schedule, the house will be adjourned sine die on March 23.
