Venkat Rao congratulates Kumble

Vijayawada, Mar 11 (UNI) Former Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) vice president N Venkat Rao today congratulated leg spinner Anil Kumble for reaching the milestone of 500 wickets during the ongoing second Test match against England in Mohali.

Talking to UNI here, Mr Rao said it was a ''good achievement'' for Kumble who had been playing for the country for the last 15 years.

His hard work and dedication contributed to the achievement which will inspire upcoming youngsters, he added.
