Top professionals vie for honours in Gulf Autocross

Mumbai, Mar 11 (UNI) Top professional riders Snehal Chauhan and Pinkesh Thakker from Pune, Manjeet Singh Basan, Freddy Elavia and Rustom Patel from Mumbai are among the 110 entries for the Gulf Autocross to be held here tomorrow.

The Autocross for two wheelers, being held at the Godrej Grounds here and sponsored by Gulf Lubricants, is being orgainsed by Sportscraft under the aegis of the Federation of Motor Sport Clubs in India, a release issued today said.

This event will give a chance for the young two-wheeler riders, 25 of them first-timers, to show their riding skills and prove themselves in this challenge.

The professional drivers are the ones to watch out for as they will slug it out to win the 'Fastest Rider of the Day' award, the release added.

This year there will also be a special ladies class, where ladies can also show the men that they are equally fast in this sport, it added.
