Six arrested for assisting mass copying
Yavatmal, Mar 10 (UNI) The police have arrested six people, including a headmaster and three teachers, for allegedly assisting mass copying at the Secondary School Certificate examination centre at Mardi village in Maregaon tehsil of Yavatmal district yesterday, police said.
The accused are Ramesh Khokare (Headmaster), Narendra Kamatkar and Afzal Khan Yunus Khan Pathan (both teachers from Navargaon High School), Sheikh Yunus Rahim (a teacher from village Kumbha), Praksh Keshav Gondekar (a peon from Karmavir Bhaurao Patil High School) and Ganesh Trambak Gode (a peon of Dahegaon High School), police added.
Reports reaching here from other parts of the district also revealed that similar mass copying incidents took place in Bori Arab and Ladkhed centres, where the parents too joined the copy suppliers.
