'Pind daan' ritual performed for Varanasi blast victims
Allahabad, Mar 11 (UNI) Hindu Jagran Manch activists and 'Prayagwal Sabha' today performed the 'Pind daan' ritual for the peace to the souls of March 7 Varanasi serial bomb blast victims.
The ritual was solemnised at Sangam -- the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati rivers.
Sabha general secretary Rajendra Paliwal said according to the Hindu mythology, the soul of a dead person attains peace and 'moksha' (salvation) with 'Pind daan'.
