Opposition stages walkout in Rajasthan Assembly
Jaipur, Mar 11 (UNI) The Opposition Congress staged a walk out from the Vidhan Sabha today when Lok Jan Shakti legislator, Ranvir Singh Gudha, was turned out after he threw bangles and black cloth at Speaker Sumitra Singh.
The treasury and Opposition benches were involved in a heated debate over the issue of the Central Government's reduced allotment for kerosene.
The issue was raised by BJP's Kalicharan Sharaf during Question Hour, sparking of a spate of charges and countercharges between the treasury benches and the Opposition.
Uproar persisted in the Assembly for over one-and-a half hour and Congress members walked towards the Speaker. Mr Gudha, in the meantime threw green bangles and black cloth towards the Speaker.
He was turned out of the Vidhan Sabha for the day by the Speaker on the proposal tabled by ruling party members.
