One die, 15 injured in road accident

Satna (MP), Mar 11 (UNI) A pilgrim died and 15 were injured in two separate incidents while going for 'darshan' to holy Chitrakoot and Sharda temple at Maihar in this district, police said today.

Madanlal (50), a resident of Allahabad was killed on the spot and four other passengers seriously injured when their tempo overturned at Nayagaon area in this district while going to Chitrakoot on Thursday.

Eleven persons, belonging to Allahabad, were heading to Maihar to visit the Sharda temple for undergoing 'mundan (shaving)' ceremony, when their jeep crashed into a tree at Naraura turning near Tamsi river.

The injured, four of them in serious condition, were admitted to hospital in Maihar.
