MP to draft public relations policy

Bhopal, Mar 11: The Madhya Pradesh Government has decided to frame a new Public Relations policy in view of the changes taking place in the field of information and Public Relations.

A four-member committee of senior bureaucrats, who were associated with Public Relations, has been constituted for framing the policy, official sources said today (Mar 11, 2006).

Higher Education Principal Secretary Dr Bhagirath Prasad, Industries Principal Secretary O P Rawat and Home Principal Secretary Satya Prakash are its members, while Public Relations Commissioner Manoj Shrivastava will be its member-secretary.

The committee will give its suggestions regarding the Public Relations department's activities, style of functioning and resources, besides the welfare of mediapersons. It has also been empowered to seek suggestions from various agencies working in the field of Public Relations by holding seminars and workshops for framing the policy.
