Lifer for one person in murder case

Davanagere, Karnataka, Mar 11 (UNI) A Fast Track Court here has convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment a person in a murder case, while acquitting four others.

FTC Judge R Chandrasekhar, who pronounced the order yesterday, imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on the accused Mohammed Khalid and acquitted the four others due to lack of evidence.

According to the prosecution, Khalid, along with the four others, had killed one Azmad Ali in Azad Nagar here on March 25, 2004, due to old enmity.
