Kidnapped doctor rescued
Patna, Mar 11 (UNI) Police today rescued Dr Shashi Kumar Sinha, a resident of Aurangabad, who was kidnapped in Rohtas district nearly one month back.
Inspector General of Police (Patna range) Rajwardhan Sharma said a joint team of Rohtas police and Patna police raided a hideout at Shivaganj Mohalla of Auranagabad and rescued the doctor.
Altogether eight criminals were arrested during the operation, he added.
Mr Sharma said efforts were on to arrest the other criminals involved in the incident.
Dr Sinha was kidnapped when he was on way to his clinic at Tilauthu under Dehri police station in Rohtas district, nearly one month back.
