Germany makes biggest cocaine haul in 5 years
COLOGNE, Germany, Mar 10 (Reuters) German authorities have made their biggest cocaine haul in five years, seizing 325 kg of the drug in the port city of Bremerhaven, Finance Minister Peer Steinbrueck said today.
The cocaine, with an estimated street value of 30 million dollars, was found in a shipping container that was on its way from Peru to Norway, officials said.
Steinbrueck made the announcement as he unveiled a 2005 report from the German customs authority.
