Foundation stone for medical institute on Mar 17

Kottayam, Mar 11 (UNI) Foundation stone for the C H Institute of Medical Science (CHIMS) will be laid here on March 17.

Panakkad Hyderaly Sihab Thangal will lay the foundation of the institute being built in memory of Indian Union Muslim League Leader C H Mohammed Koya.

Dental college, hospital, auditorium, library and hostel are included in the project.

Malayala Manorama Chief Editor K M Mathew, Kerala Ministers M K Muneer, V K Ibrahim Kunju, Arch Bishop Mar Joseph Powathil and Mr Suresh Kurup, MP, would also attend the function, C H Mohammed Koya Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust Executive Director P P Muhammed Kutty told mediapersons here today.
