Explosive in water bottle found in railway toilet
Mumbai, Mar 11 (UNI) Explosive material was found in a water bottle left abandoned in the toilet at the Byculla railway station this morning and police suspect that the material is similar to the one used in the Varanasi blasts.
Police Commissioner A N Roy, speaking to reporters this evening, said that the chemicals used in the explosive appears to be similar to that used in the Sankat Mochan Temple blast. Mr Roy said the chemicals have been sent for analysis.
The bottle was found in an unclaimed bag that was left abandoned in the toilet of the Byculla railway station this morning. It was later deactivated by the Bomb Disposal Squad.
