6 Indians to tee off in TCL Classic
Sanya, China, March 11 (UNI) A strong Indian contingent, led by Shiv Kapur and Jyoti Randhawa, has confirmed its participation in the one million dollar TCL Classic in China next week.
Kapur and Randhawa, who are straddling between Asian and European Tours this season, will lead a squad of about six Indians, including Jeev Milkha Singh, Gaurav Ghei, Amandeep Johl, Rahil Gangjee and Harmeet Kahlon.
Meanwhile returning to Sanya will be Paul McGinley, who played one of his best ever rounds at the event in 2005. The Irish ace thrilled the galleries with a closing 63 at the 2005 event before losing a dramatic playoff with England's Paul Casey.
Current European No.1 David Howell, defending champion Casey and rising star Nick Dougherty have already confirmed they will also be taking part in the event, co-sanctioned by the European and Asian Tours.
