Ukrainian delegation meets AP CM

Hyderabad, Mar 10 (UNI) A delegation from Ukraine met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy here today and expressed its interest to establish a joint venture with the state government to mine beach sand minerals and establish a titanium production plant as a joint venture with the Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation (APMDC).

Besides titanium, the group also expressed their intention of exploring natural gas from Krishna Godavari Basin and establish Ammonia based fertilizer units in the state with an investment of Rs 8000 crore.

The Ukrainian delegation was headed by Mr Firtosh Dmitri and Dr Jugendra Singh Raghav. The Chief Minister assured them of all required support and cooperation from the government side.

Secretary, Industries department, Mr B Kripanandam was also present during the meeting.
