Bank employees to organise 'protest march'

Patna, Mar 5: Regional Rural Banks(RRBs) employees of 14500 branches will organise a 'protest march' to Parliament on April 5 to press the government for accepting their charter of demands.

In a press release here today General Secretary of the All India Gramin Bank Employees Association D N Trivedi said this march would be organised by United Forum of RRB Unions (UFFRRBU) comprising of six unions.

The staffs of the rural banks were demanding service regulation and pension schemes compatible to other commercialised banks.

Employees of the RRBs would also organise day-long dharna in New Delhi on the same day.
