Uneven income in Bihar districts
Patna, March 2 (UNI) Vast disparity in per capita income of different regions in Bihar surfaced in the report tabled in the assembly on Tuesday by deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Sushil Kumar Modi.
Against aper capita income of Rs 3631 for the whole state, Patna recorded Rs 6958, while the same is Rs 2219 in Sheohar and Rs 2800 in Gopalganj.
The credit-deposit(CD) ratio was 38.40 in 1991, which went down to 22.79 in 2002.
In 2005, it is expected to marginally improve with a projection figure of 30.
