Satyam received AS9100/EN9100 certification

Hyderabad, Mar 02: Satyam Computer Services Limited, announced today (Mar 3, 2006) that its aerospace practice has received the AS9100/EN9100 certification.

While AS9100 standard is realeased by the Society of Automotive Engineers in the United States of America, EN9100 is a standard released by The European Association of Aerospace Industries in Europe. These are aerospace Industry's quality system standard for quality assurance in design, development, production, installation, and servicing.

Aliging many of the existing Aerospace Quality System requirements, AS9100/EN9100 is the first global standard that meets the requirements of aerospace companies. These standards ensure quality and safety in the ''high risk'' aerospace industry, the company said in a release here.
