One killed in dispute over pet dog

Ambala, Mar 2 (UNI) One person was killed and three, including a woman, were injured in a brawl over a pet dog in R A Lines of the Air Force in Ambala Cantonment last night, police said today.

The deceased was identified as Krishan Lal, who worked as a watchman.

Krishan Lal used to have frequent brawls with his neighbour Ghan Shyam over his pet dog. Late last night when the dog started barking, the two neighbours got into an altercation.

Ghan Shayam along with five to six people attacked Krishan Lal and his family with sharp-edged weapons and stabbed him to death, while two of his brothers and a woman were injured.

The injured, identified as Ramesh, Pawan and Bimla Devi, were admitted to the Civil Hospital.

The police has registered a murder case against Ghan Shayam and his accomplices.
