NGO plea to YSR not to discuss farming with Bush

Hyderabad, Mar 2: NGO Deccan Development Society has urged Chief Minister Y S Rajaksekhara Reddy to avoid discussion on farming issues with US President George W Bush during his visit here.

In an open letter to Dr Reddy, DDS Director P V Sateesh said America was giving priority to genetically engineering crops for its own economic benefits and hence it was better for the chief minister to avoid discussions with Mr Bush on farm issues.
