Kalam's horses floor Texan Bush
New Delhi, Mar 2 (UNI) Texan George W Bush was all praise for the majestic horses of the President's Bodyguards at the ceremonial reception at the Rashtrapati Bhavan here this morning.
''I have never seen a reception as well organised and grand as the one we just received. The horses added great elegance to the ceremony,'' said the US President, who owns a ranch in his home state Texas.
An avid horse lover, Mr Bush was in awe of the horses which stood in the forecourts of the Rashtrapati Bhavan for the ceremonial welcome by the men from the three services on a bright sunny morning.
The US President was seen repeatedly glancing towards the majestic animals as he walked past them to receive the guard of honour.
Mr Bush is known for his love for horses which he breeds in his ranch.
He was also impressed by the imposing Rashtrapati Bhavan building which he described as ''breathtaking'' and had a comment about the weather which he said was ''beautiful''.
''I also thank you for arranging beautiful weather,'' he told Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
Mr Bush was received by President A P J Abdul Kalam and the Prime Minister and his cabinet colleagues.
