Haryana Urdu conference to begin tomorrow
Chandigarh, Mar 2 (UNI) A two-day conference of all Urdu academies of Haryana will be held at the Panjab Univeristy here tomorrow.
The conference will be organised by the Haryana Urdu Academy in collaboration with the National Council for Promotion of the language.
Academy Secretary K L Zakir said that the conference will be inaugurated by Haryana Governor Dr A R Kidwai and presided by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda. Education Minister Phool Chand Mullana will be the guest of honour.
Secretaries of all the Urdu academies of the state will present their reports which will be discussed in various sessions of the conference, Mr Zakir said.
An All India Mushiara will be organised tomorrow in the auditorium of Museum and Art Gallery here, in which eminent poets were likely to participate.
