CII to organise INDEX-2006 in Pondy

Pondicherry,Mar 2 (UNI) The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Southern Region is organising "INDEX-2006," a focused vendor development exposition and business meet from March three to five at the Pondicherry Engineering College here.

According to a CII press release today, "Index-2006" will showcase manufacturing and engineering capabilities of small and medium enterprises in Pondicherry and offer them an ideal platform to meet, network and explore business opportunities with large manufacturing companies from South India.

The exposition will showcase a wide array of products and services from automotive components, auto electricals, garage and service equipment, IT hardware /peripherals,IT services among others.

Coinciding with "Index-2006," CII is organising a two-day Sourcing Forum featuring presentations from large auto, Engineering, IT and electrical companies on their procurement and vendor development standards and future procurement plans from the region.
