Itanagar, Mar 2 (UNI) The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) today congratulated party chief Sonia Gandhi and other central leaders for giving clear nod to Chief Minister Gegong Apang for inducting three legislators into his council of ministers.

The party in a statement while congratulating Mr Apang for building a complete cabinet team said the MLAs were inducted into the cabinet basing on their experience and political acumen.

The party hoped that the new ministers would collectively strengthen the hands of the chief minister, APCC president Mukut Mithi, Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi.

It might be mentioned here that Mr Apang yesterday inducted Tako Dabi, Lombo Tayeng and Kalikho Pul into his cabinet and dropped Home Minister Jarbom Gamlin to fill up the vacant berths.

The party said the induction was based on individual annual confidential report of legislators and urged the new ministers to work on line of party's election manifesto while ensuring that interest, aspiration and expectation of party workers should be taken care of.

The APCC also urged them to work with dedication in order to supplement the effort of the party in strengthening the government while delivering services to the people of the state.

Meanwhile, the state unit of NSUI and Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress (APYC) also welcomed the decision by the CLP leader and Chief Minister Gegong Apang for inducting three new ministers into his cabinet.
