21 cattle-heads seized, one held

Agra, Mar 2 (UNI) Police in this district of Uttar Pradesh have seized a truck with 21 cattle-heads allegedly being carried for slaughter and arrested the truck driver.

Police said here today that the 21 cattle-heads, being taken for slaughter to Rajasthan, were seized during a routine check late last night from Waterworks area and added the truck driver had been arrested.

Three others accompanying the driver, however, managed to escape, the police added.
