2 GP secretaries arrested for misusing govt funds

Chitradurga, Mar 2 (UNI) Lok Ayukta police have arrested two gram panchayat Secretaries for misappropriation of funds to the tune of Rs 67,000.

Police today said the arrested, Mallari Rao and Jeelam Pasha were attached to the Burujanoroppa panchayat in Hiriyur taluk.

The duo were remanded in judicial custody today.
