Woman kills 2 kids, commits suicide

Sikar, Mar 1 (UNI) A woman, after strangling her two children to death, commited suicide here today.

According to police, Sabira, 30, hanged herself in her home Dhobiyo Ka Mohalla after strangulating her children -- two-year-old Sania and 10-month-old Shabana -- with plastic ropes.

Her seven-year-old son Sameer was spared as he was hiding.

Sameer opened the doors today morning and told their neighbours about the incident.

The police said Sabira's husband works somewhere abroad. The reasons behind the killings and suicide was yet to be ascertained.
