Two killed in head-on collision

Hoshiarpur, Mar 1 : Two persons, including a woman were killed on the spot and four others injured, when the jeep they were travelling in collided head-on with a mini truck coming from the opposite direction near village Chanaur on Hajipur-Mansar road about 75 km from here today afternoon.

Police said the deseased have been identified as Baba Kasturba Nand (50) of Adwait Saroop Seva Sadan Ashram and Sanyogata (45) of Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh.

All the injured persons were taken to Civil Hospital, Mukerian.
