Rajkumar fine: doctor

Bangalore, Mar 1 (UNI) The condition of Kannada matinee idol Rajkumar, admitted to the Wockhardt hospital here on Monday after he complained of chest pain, is fine and is likely to be discharged in a couple of days.

Talking to UNI, Hospital Chief Executive Officer Vishal Bali said Dr Rajkumar was responding well to the treatment and there was no cause for any worry. He took a walk on the corridor of the hospital last evening and this morning too, he added.

He said the thespian, who was shifted from the Critical Care Unit to a special ward yesterday after a team of doctors attending on him found all his parameters functioning normall. DrKumar is in good health and cheerful, Mr Bali added.

Mr Bali said Dr Rajkumar was likely to be discharged in a day or two. However, a date is yet to be decided, he added.
