Passenger train derails in UP, 3 injured

Ballia, Mar 01: Three passengers were injured, when ten bogies of the Bhatni-Varanasi passenger train derailed between the Kridiharapur and Indara railway station here this morning (Mar 01, 2006).

Railway sources said here that the incident occurred on the Bhatni-Varanasi rail route resulting in minor injuries to three passengers of the Varanasi-bound train.

A probe has been ordered, the sources added.
