Foreign tourists on bikes at Kumarakom

Kumarakom, Kerala, Mar 1 (UNI) As part of a charity programme, 120 foreign tourists, including 20 women, arrived here motorcycles today.

The tourists from Australia, Netherlands, South Africa, Spain, Germany, France, Holland, England, USA and other countries, reached here after covering more than 2,500 kms in various parts of the country, troupe Captain Simon Smith said.

The programme was organised to collect funds for charity, he said.

The rally started from Goa on February 19. The tourists were accorded a traditional welcome at the Kumarakom Tourist Centre.
