Amco Power Systems forms JV with SAFT France

Bangalore, Mar 1 (UNI) Amco Power Systems Limited, leading manufacturer of nickel cadmium batteries and part of the Amalgamation Group, today formed a joint venture with SAFT of France, world leader in high-technology and high performance batteries, called Amco-SAFT India Limited.

The joint venture would target verticals like oil and natural gas, pipeline and refineries, power, railways and defence in India, according to a release here.

The partnership aimed at providing premium solutions that would address other sectors like Power, Aviation and Defence, in addition to widening the range of rail products in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal, the release said.
