Actress Arti Agarwal discharged from hospital

Hyderabad, Mar 1 (UNI)Actress Arti Agarwal who recovered from Coma after brain surgery was today discharged from a corporate hospital here.

Hospital sources said the actress had totally recovered and was able to speak.

Arti who belongs to Gujarat had migrated to Hyderabad and acted in several successful films.

She was admitted to the hospital following a fall in her Banjara Hills residence. Doctors found a blood clot in her brain and removed it through surgery.

She was on ventilator for few days. However the actress staged a recovery.

Banjara Hills Circle Inspector Sankar Reddy told newsmen that Arti Agarwal had given a statement to the police that she sustained injuries only through an accidental fall and there was no foul play.

He said a magistrate had also recorded her statement.

Arti Agarwal attempted to end her life few months ago by consuming poison after her name was linked to a hero.

Arti's father Sasank Agarwal, a wealthy businessman settled in the USA, had recently come back and was with her when the accident occurred.
