SUCI calls students' strike protesting Bush visit
Kolkata, Feb 28: The SUCI affiliated All India Democratic Students Organisation (AIDSO) has called a students' strike on March 2 to protest US President George Bush's visit to India.
The Socialist Unity Centre (SUCI) state president Provash Ghosh told newspersons that the party has organised several protest programmes.
It includes a rally on March one, besides, the students strike and black day on March two.
The party would hold agitations throughout the country on March three.
He also accused the ruling Left Front partner CPI(M) for pursuing 'double standard policy'.
"The US President's visit was not possible in the country if the CPI(M) had threatened to withdraw support from the United Progressive Alliance(UPA) government at the Centre", he said.
