2 militants killed in South Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 28: Security forces gunned down two militants in South Kashmir district of Pulwama late last night, a defence ministry spokesman said today (Feb 28, 2006).

He said a security force patrol party was attacked by militants at Drobgam in Pulwama last evening reinforcement were sent from the nearby camps and the area was sealed off.

The operation continued till late last night during which two militants were killed.

Two AK rifles and other arms and ammunition were seized from the militants.
