Kochi to host Indo-Arab Conference on investment
Kochi, Feb 25: Ambassadors of more than 12 Arab countries, including the Dean of Arab Diplomatic Corps, will attend an Indo-Arab Conference on investment opportunities in Kerala here on February 27.
Announcing this at a press conference, Cochin Chamber of Commerce and Industry President N Sreekumar said that this would be the first time that Kochi will host so many ambassadors from Arab countries.
The day-long conference is being organised by the Cochin Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM).
Senior Government officials, including Secretary, Non-Resident Keralite Affairs (NORKA), Jiji Thomson, and Director, Tourism, B Suman will make presentations on the problems of non-resident Keralites and the tourism potential of Kerala.
"Presentations would also be made on the IT and industries sectors," he added.
