Ferrous and non-ferrous metals flat on moderate demamdd

Mumbai, Feb 25 (UNI) Prices of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including tin and copper, remained steady today on moderate industrial demand and comfortable stocks, traders at the metal exchange here said.

Following were the spot metal prices per quintal: Ferrous metals: copper heavy-Rs 25,700, copper utensils-Rs 23,400, brass utensils-Rs 18,200, brass cuttings-Rs 19,000 and aluminium utensils-Rs 10,100.

Non-ferrous metals: copper wire bars-Rs 27,800, aluminium ingots-Rs 12,900, zinc slab-Rs 12,600, lead ingots-Rs 6,200, tin slab-Rs 391 (per kg) and nickel cathode-Rs 762 (per kg).
