Woman sets fire to herself, son, daughter

Adilabad, Andhra Pradesh, Feb 23 (UNI) A 25-year-old woman set herself ablaze along with her two-year-old son and four-year-old daughter near their house in Dharmaram village of the district today.

Police said here while the woman and her son died, the daughter escaped with minor burns.

Kurma Lakshmi took the extreme step as she was frustrated. She doused herself with kerosene and sprinkled it on her son Charan and daughter Rita before setting the fire.

On hearing the screams, neighbours rushed to the house. However Lakshmi and Charan died en route to hospital UNI ASJ GM 1632
