USCA chairman escapes from lock-up

Itanagar, Feb 22 (UNI) United Socialist Council of Arunachal chairman Gungte Tagung has escaped from police lock-up here last night police said.

Tugung, involved in several cases including day light robbery, was arrested from Nagaland last year.

Police sources told UNI today that four sentries on duty had been suspended for negligence to duty.

A massive search operation was launched to nab Tagung.
