Uddhav acts tough after Sena's Naigaum defeat

Mumbai, Feb 23 (UNI) Shiv Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray has removed all office-bearers of the party's Naigaum unit following the Sena's defeat in the assembly by-elections there.

Ms Shraddha Jadhav of the Shiv Sena was defeated by Congress candidate Kalidas Kolambkar in the recent by-elections in Naigaum.

Mr Thackeray, meanwhile, held a meeting with all the party district chiefs at Rangsharada here. Besdes Mr Thackeray, former Lok Sabha Speaker Manohar Joshi and senior Sena leader Subhash Desai also addressed the gathering.
