Two labourers killed in mishap at Jindal construction site

Bellary, Feb 23 (UNI) Two contract labourers were crushed to death and one was seriously injured when a newly fabricated conveyor collapsed on them at the construction site of steel major Jindal Group here today.

The labourers were working at the site of the Group's sinter plant when the conveyor fell on them from a height of 200 ft, killing one of them on the spot.

The injured were admitted to the VIMS hospital here, where the other one succumbed.

The deceased were identified as Satish from Andhra Pradesh and Nagendra from Uttar Pradesh.
