Two examinees injured in road accident

Hajipur, Feb 23 (UNI) Two intermediate examinees were seriously injured when they were hit by a speeding bus near Mahua More under Town police station area of Vaishali district today.

The injured were referred to Patna Medical College and Hospital.

Police said an agitated mob torched the bus in protest against the accident. Fire brigades also became the target of the violent mob when it was called by the police to douse the blaze.

At least 12 people sustained minor injuries when the police resorted to lathicharge to disperse the mob.

Senior police officers were camping at the site to ensure law and order.
