Train services restored

Vijayawada, Feb 24 (UNI) With the re-commissioning of one of the bridges between Bitragunta and Alur road on February 22, train services had been restored with effect from today.

A release from SCR said here tonight that Simhapuri express would run to and from Gudur instead of Bitragunta. Tirupati-Ongole passenger running upto Nellore, would be run between Tirupati and Ongole.

Vijayawada-Bitragunta passenger, which was running upto Ongole, would now run between Vijayawada and Bitragunta, while the Vijayawada-Ongole passenger services would be restored.

The Gudur-Vijayawada passsenger, Ongole-Tirupati passenger, running between Nellore and Tirupati, would now run between Ongole and Tirupati.

The Bitragunta-Chennai passenger, running between Gudur and Chennai, would now run between Bitragunta and Chennai.
