Thundershowers likely in North East

Pune, Feb 22 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and at isolated places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Dry weather will prevail over the Ganegtic West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Lakshadweep.

Night temperatures were below normal in Rayalaseema and were below normal in some parts of Tamil Nadu. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat State, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, north Chhattisgarh.

The temperatures were above normal in some parts of Orissa, Jharkhand, Marathwada and Vidarbha. They were normal over the rest of the country outside Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.

Very light rains had occurred at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers had occurred at many places in Assam, Meghalaya and at isolated places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
