Throw me out: Speaker

New Delhi, Feb 22 (UNI) Agitated by the continual disturbance of the Lok Sabha proceedings, Speaker Somnath Chatterjee asked the members to throw the Chair out if it was coming in their way.

''Throw away the Chair, and come inside the Well and run the House,'' Mr Chatterjee said after the Opposition members entered into a verbal duel with Mr Jyotiraditya Scindia during question hour.

Earlier, when a member pointed out that the Speaker was giving more chances to the members sitting on his left to raise supplementaries, Mr Chatterjee quipped: ''I am a Leftist, I have a leaning towards the Left.'' UNI YJ LR ND1232
