Teacher commits suicide

Kozhikode, Feb 23 (UNI) A college teacher allegedly committed suicide at a rescue home run by an NGO in the city early today.

Police said body of T K Shakhi (24) employed with Bodi Parallel College, Chikkilode, was found hanging in her room in the Home at Kottuli in the city.

Shakhi had been staying there since December last year following complaint of harrassment by her father.The body has been sent for post-morteum after preliminary investigation.
