Tarigami for time-bound judicial probe into killing of youths

Srinagar, Feb 22 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir CPI(M) Secretary Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami today condemned the killing of four youths allegedly by security forces at Handwara in Kupwara district this afternoon and demanded a time-bound judicial inquiry into the incident.

''It is unfortunate that such a condemnable act has ben committed which resulted in the loss of four innocent lives,'' Mr Tarigami told UNI here.

He said the state government must immediately order a time-bound judicial inquiry into the incident.

Those responsible for the heinous act should be identified and brought to book, he added.

''No words are enough to assuage the grief of the families of those killed,'' Mr Tarigami said.
