Snow likely to occur in J

Pune, Feb 23 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

Dry weather will prevail over West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan.

Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly below normal in some parts of interior Karnataka and were below normal in some parts of Tamil Nadu.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch, Madhya Maharashtra and north Chhattisgarh.

The temeratures were above normal in Orissa, Konkan, Goa and Vidarbha, and were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers had occurred at a few places in Assam, Meghalaya, at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
